My apologies to Jason and Richard and anyone else with interest in 33-3N/4W. I did not realize there were going to be 2 Mashburn wells. A permit has been issued for the Mashburn1H-33 This will be the opposite of the Mashburn 1H-4 which went from 33 into 4. This one will go from 4 into 33. Looks like you guys are going to get 28 and 33 both drilled.
Rick am I understanding this right now?

I can’t find SHL or BHL on the post , but both permits show 33 as well location.

The first Mashburn well WAS drilled from 33 to Sec. 4 in Stephens with people in 4 getting all the money but it looks like you people in 33 will get the dough this time weather it’s drilled from 4 or 33. Congratulations folks!!
Here is the permit that was issued this week covering 33-3N-4W.

Mike, It looks SHL is 33 also.
I was betting on them making it multisection well covering 28-3N-4W also. Since they are drilling this one from the North, it does not look like that is going to happen.
What we might see is section 28 getting a permit and the well being drilled from 33 from this same pad.
Still in Dallas at the NARO convention to see what I can learn!
Richard…I was wondering that myself. I was thinking they might be spelling it out so I wouldn’t know what they were talking. Glad I’m not the only one. lol
Rick, I think there is still a chance of a multi-unit NF has apps in for 28 I wouldn’t be surprised to see an app for Mukti-Unit Horizontal Well.
This is from permit issued 10-29-12:
SHL NCT 250 FNL, NCT 660 FWL 4-2N-4W**
1ST PERF 165 FSL, 660 FWL 33-3N-4W
LAST PERF 165 FNL, 660 FWL 33-3N-4W
Richard…4 2n,4w is in Stephens Co. and is south of the Mashburn pad in 33 not North (I believe that’s right).
Linda, I don’t think those maps are “close enough for guv’ment work”. Scroll down and look at the description I posted, the ** refers to a footnote that says the location is subject to change.
I have acreage in Section 7 - 3N - 4W in Garvin County. I received a letter about drilling, but I live in Texas. Does anyone know if there is drilling in this area now and what is the potential for a well?
What they are currently targeting in this area is the Woodford shale play. It is a split of Oil, Natural Gas, and Natural Gas Liquids.
Hutch…Isn’t that map showing both pads in 33?
David,
Look at this map. Section 7-3N-4W is all the was to the left on this map.
The “Y” in Grady Co is pointing directly at it.

David,
The links under “mineral help” near the top of the page are a good start.
Thanks again Rick.
Linda, that is my 84 year old mom that brought me into this world at Lindsay Municipal Hospital 44 years ago. My family is from the Lindsay, Doyle area.
I should have said last perf instead of BHL.
Richard, The first Mashburn was drilled from 33 into 4-2N/4W It is called the 1H-4 This one is drilling from 4-2N/4W into 33 and is the 1H-33. They us the section # from where the production is coming from. It being drilled from the south, NCT(no closer than) 250 FNL(from north line)and NCT 660ft.FWL(from west line) 0f 4-2N/4W
