Garvin County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

I leased my mineral rights in 16-3N-4W to Energy Lease in 2011 for 3 years. I haven’t heard anything since then.

Linda, 2n-4w is Stephens county. How about Garvin?

Tica…2n,4w in Stephens also connects to Garvin 2n,3w on the east which is also very good minerals area in the Scoop.

Thanks Linda.

Who is buying and how much.1n-1w 30-36

Lynden 160 acres sw 1/4. I have interest in se 1/4 . I would think they can pool Merit if they want a woodford well

They will finish a well in 21-3n-4w next week and then have to frack it. With a good well in 21 I wouldn’t think 16 would be far off. They have a nice well in 18 . they have filed for spacing on 17 for Woodford well.

Lynden Yes the sw/4 of 16 is what is being pooled now and I have leased my cousins in the se/4 and se or sw are not in the Purdy unit. Co.s pool other Co.s every day If they have an interest under the tract I can file for a pooling . The Corp. Comm. may make the larger interest owner the operator but the smaller owner can file for the pooling.

Yes Judy that is what the pooling is for

Has anyone heard what the production is on the Mashburn 1H-33?

Tica…Yes 2n,4w is in Stephens Co. but it’s connects to Garvin 3n, 4w. They are both in the Scoop. What are you wanting to know about Garvin? About high offers to purchase or ???

Newfield man said the “Tina” well whose pad is in Section 2 2n,4w but goes north in Garvin Sections 35 and 26 (I believe) was a really good well and “just keeps getting better and better”

linda: at this point garvin intrest me. 1n-1w 30-36 sales prices.

Tica, do you have mineral rights in 30 through 36, or 30 & 36 only?

Tica…I’m not understanding what you mean. Do you mean what companies are offering to purchase royalty in Garvin or what the oil there is selling for or ???

Saw Cactus rigs 134,154,143 and 160 drilling 4 more Branch wells. Then went west on the section line just north of Rush Creek off Hwy 76 over to Sec. 20 3N/4W where the Lang was being drilled and Cactus rig 108 is gone and I want to know what Linda has done with it. T’aint nowhere to be seen.

I should have included the section the cactus rig 108 was going to in Grady County 22-6N-6W, the well is PRIM 1-22H.

30 thru 36 and 15 and 36e and 23 and 25 and 26. My questions remains, is it worth anything or not, yes it is leased, i want to know what it’s worth on the choppin block, sold, gone, no longer mine.

Tica, Check out this website, an online mineral auction. What is 36e?

On Triad’s pooling application for SW/4 16-3N-4W, they are asking for a 160 acre spacing unit, so just pooling the SW/4. I gather this is not uncommon for vertical wells that they space smaller than the entire section.

Also, on the general pooling/depth-clause discussion, as I understand, if your interests were force pooled rather than leased, the pooling effectively gives you the same as leasing with a depth clause. The operator doesn’t “hold by production” other formations. I’m not entirely clear on whether they release all formations that are not producing from or only those unlisted or below.

I think it moved on 2/6/13 to Grady county on the PRIM 1-22H well.
