Don, this is simply outstanding work... and invaluable information. Gives anyone who is approached about leasing (or re-leasing) their minerals a place from which to start bargaining. The advantage used to be entirely with the leasing outfit... this evens the playing field. If there is a place to contribute monetarily to your efforts, post it.
Thank you David... I enjoy doing it. If it helps a mineral owner in any way, then that is payment enough.

Horizontal Wells in Grady County with Est Production and Payouts by TRS.pdf
It has been a while since I last posted the completed horizontal wells in Grady County. The top pdf file is sorted by value with the multi-unit wells after the one section (unit) wells. The 2nd pdf file is sorted by township-range-section so you can compare wells in a township/range. The multi-unit wells are again after the one section wells.

I believe you mentioned in 5-6-6 the Cunningham. Is it too new to be in this Crude map? It is the section north of 8-6-6, so I am interested in the success. It seems to be a ho-hum well because I don't here much talk about it. Several weeks ago, I drove by it and it has about 4 huge Oil tanks on it but I didn't see any traffic like trucks coming and going. Since CLR is mastering the horizontal well drilling North, I am thinking this will provide insight to how well a horizontal would be in 8-6-6. However, that is probably a long way off due to the operator (hope I have this right) in 8-6-6. It looks like the oil is probably east of sections 5 and 8, but the well in 5-6-6 does have some big tanks sitting on it. But there is only one site in the section and no new pads that I can tell. North of there is a lot of activity in 7N-6W though.
It's there Papa G... Cunningham 1-5H Continental / Woodford 132 BOPD 3798 Gas MCF/d
Estimated Payout per NMA Year 1 is $2,720 / 4 Year - $5,488 ( that number is almost in-line with the township average of $5,593).
If I had any minerals in section 8-6N-6W (or the other sections held by production), I would be calling or writing the well operator (Kaiser-Francis) and "press the implied convent to develop" (as Rick Howell said in one of his August 29 posts). Depending on what was said by them, my next move might be filing a complaint with the OCC. They have an online form.
Who knows, Kaiser-Francis may have something planned, but they need to be pressed about what those plans are.
Don, I just came across this. Thank you for doing that. Continental is planning a horizontal in 15-7N-5W, it looks like. Cause CD No 201406242.
Hi Christine, you are welcome... I enjoy doing it while I wait for Continental or Apache to drill a horizontal well in section 7-6N-6W. You are exactly right... Continental is planning a horizontal in 15-7N-5W. I believe they are making some nice wells in that part of the county.

2156-HorizontalWellsinGradyCounty7.xlsx (73.4 KB)That must be some time-consuming work. I took your spreadsheet, modified it a little, and created the attached layover for google earth. Click on the dots to see the rest of your information. The only issue with how I did it is that you cannot have 2 Sections in the "Section" heading. So I just limited it to the first section in the well name. You can also get it to drill down to quarter-quarter on the dot placement if you have that info. Just click on both of the KMZ files and they should open in Google Earth. You may have to adjust the time slider in the top left corner to see all the wells.
2153-GradyHZWells1.kmz (17.1 KB) 2154-TownshipRange.kmz (885 Bytes) 2155-GradyHZWells.xlsx (32.1 KB)Brady, that is just about the neatest thing I have seen... thanks! I will see if I can get each multi-unit well into separate sections for my next post. I have been wanting to do that anyway.
Brady, Don ... Thanks! Looking at the Google Earth images now. Don, I've added our Humphrey family minerals & wells to your spreadsheet, adding many details It's a great way to consolidate all our data & have a visual image w/r to Woodford & Springer. Good idea about the multi-unit well. There's a recent example: The Ratliff 1-22XH, borehole in 22, goes lateral south for 11000+ feet, under S22, into S34: 3 sections....
