Kingfisher County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Gail, if she is still alive, then call the county clerk of Kingfisher and ask how them how to do it. You may just need to change the Mineral Deed. But you will probably have to have the probate documents to prove that she is the owner.

My moms name…not sure how to go abt getting it in my name. She has turned the dealing over to me.

Generally, does anyone know about how long it takes from the spud date until the company will file a completion report?

4 to 6 months

Thanks Ron, I appreciate the quick response.

Hi

Anyone know of a Well in Kingfisher Section 21-18N-6W it is a Gastar Well

Pooling no 201306001.

Would appreciate any info, as cannot access OCC from UK.

Many Thanks

Ges

Ges,

No well has been drilled. I believe Gastar’s pooling has expired and their application for an extension was dismissed. Chesapeake has applied for spacing and location exception for a well in zones not pooled by Gastar so they will need to pool before they drill. If you have not leased your minerals you may receive notices for two more poolings.

Please could anyone shed any light on what is happening with this well please, have been told it is flowing at commercial rates, but still flowing back frac fluid after 60 days, well in Section 22-17N-5W Kingfisher County is the Gant No. 1-22H. Ward/Huskey

Best Regards

Geseppe

Ges,

The horizontal wells are frac’d using large quantities of water so it is not unusual for it to take several months to recover all the frac fluid. Generally, oil and gas production will be seen by the time 10% of the frac has been recovered. Oil and gas production will most likely increase for awhile during this clean-up phase but will normally start its decline before all the frac has been recovered. Without seeing the daily activity reports it is impossible to be much more specific since each well acts differently.

any one know location of shimanek 1-2

Doris,

Sec. 2-18N-8W

What Doris is looking to find is the location on a map. The GIS viewer is difficult or maybe some coaching please? Thank you!

Hello I I am new to this county, and just learned we have inherited some minerals here I was just curious about past activity and future activity county wide. I do not have legal descriptions yet. Just know we were contacted by Stephens exploration. I am just curios about the area, any information would be very much appreciated. Thank yall

Thanks M I have the tracts just did not have time to get by the office today to get them. Secretary is getting all the paperwork togather. Was just curious as to some of the production there. I am in Lynn county texas so a little difficult to get away to do the research. Thanks again

Tons of info on the internet, you can do it in your slippers. I live in Houston and do most of my work from there for all over the country. Several zones produce, big companies, little companies, vertical drilling, horizontal drilling, conventional, shale. Once you have your locations, we can hone in a little and get your going.
