Ok I am confused. I thought it had been permitted, but just now I looked on the RRC site and don’t see it, and I went back to June. I think it gave instructions how to get out there even. Do permits expire or can they be pulled temporarily, or did I overlook it just now?
Went back and looked at our blog. We were talking about the Wallace 1H in June, so it was permitted.
It’s Devon, Keith.
If anyone is considering selling thier minerals, please don,t go with those ads in the paper mentioned earlier. I have an investor that has purchase from me in the past. He has always paid top dollar and very easy to work with. He is looking for minerals in the cline shale.
Don’t sell; if there’s oil one day you could have a check.
I feel the same way Jennifer Im just trying to get anyone considering those lowball offers connected with possibly a better deal. If the price was good enough I would consider selling some of our minerals.
Not much to update today. No rigs that I know of right now, except the Mayse has what I think is a pulling unit or workover rig, post frac work.
Work continues on the compressor station on CR 337. Looks like they are constructing it so they can add more compressors as they are needed.
Any of you new members associated with the Wallace Estate heard when that rig will be moving in?
Going to be gone a few days. Little ski vacation with my adult children and their friends. Bill had to back out last minute, taking care of the well. I have asked him to keep up with MRF, it’s priority!
Later…
Devon employee lead me to believe it would be in the first part of 2013.
Cheryl, Would like to read the article. Where is it?
Saw article that says Hale county is just starting. Might be better to wait a little more time. I would check some more.
Mickie… is he buying or leasing? What does he want per acre?
He will be buying and not sure per acre price yet. It will depend on what, where an if it is leased or not and what your lease terms are. If you are interested let me know what you have and i will forward it on or get you with him.
Devon`s Wallace M 1H well was permitted in Nolan Co. on May 25, 2012 in Sec. 35, Block 12 H & TC RR survey as a horizontal well. Depth 7500 ft.
was there a permit on the wallace estate? firewheel?
Hello Mitchell County Group,
New member, here. Have read much of the back-thread here. Thanks for lots of information. I have unleased surface/minerals of small tract east of Lake Colorado City. Busy getting up to speed, with growing curiosity about Devon’s Adoue C well. Hope it is a barn-burner.
Happy Holidays, and thanks.
Tom
Thanks! Of course I didn’t find it in Mitchell County…
Nice to have several new members join the past few days.
Martha,
Sorry, I’m not the one (unless you owe him money…)
Tom
Tom,
I also have rights adjacent to the Adoue C lease, and am following with interest. Unfortunately Devon has run into some issue about access, and has postponed drilling. Meanwhile I’m planning to contact several companies to explore any lease interest.
Brit
Thanks for the update, Brit.
I appreciate the difficulty with drilling a well in that area, but money overcomes many of those problems. It all comes down to the economics.
Thanks for the comment, and any future observations, as I am not residing in Texas at this time.
Best of luck,
Tom
Are you the Tom Wheeler I know in Lubbock?
Sorry, I cannot remember where I saw it. I will try to find though.
Many of you may have seen the “newspaper” Texas Drilling Observer. It has drilling news of the drilling activity in Texas. You find it on the Internet.
