Payne County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

1280 is the largest allowed as far as I know.

Martha,

That should be 36-19N-2w Logan not 35-18n-2w.

My thanks goes to everyone on Mineral Rights Forum. The massive amount of current information on all the county pages is appreciated and amazing. However, we are only seeing the ‘tip of the ice burg’. There’s more folks.

Sorry, I meant 36-18N-2W not 35-18n-2w

Payne: Devon Energy Production Co. LP; Leigh 16-19N-3E No. 1MH Well; NE1/4 SW1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 (SL) of 08-19N-03E; 158 barrels oil per day, 210,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 9,927.

Whiting Petroleum, (WLL), is drilling in Colorado and reports that they can now drill wells 10,000 feet deep and 10,000 feet horizontally in just 11 to 15 days. New technology has allowed their wells to be drilled using just a single drill bit, saving time from not having to change bits.

Here’s an interesting read on the Kansas/Oklahoma Mississippian: http://www.circlestarenergy.com/projects/kansas/mississippian-forma…

Teri, Here’s Devon’s Permit to Drill your sec 06-19N-01W, http://imaging.occeweb.com/OG/Well%20Records/1DD1764B.pdf

Teri, Go to http://imaging.occeweb.com/imaging/OGWellRecords.aspx

enter 0618N01W in the Legal Location field and click on search. Click on the records that appear. Intent to drill means the O/G Company intends to drill, so they have to file an Intent To Drill with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC).

What exactly does the Intent to Drill Report mean? How can you find out if the well is complete yet or not? The Hudson 6-18N-1W is in our section.

They drilled from 6 . You were not leased and not named in the pooling ? Do you need a copy of the pooling ?

Thanks Martha, That helped. Is there anyway to find out production results for the Devon wells in Logan County, Specifically the Hannah and The Ringer Well pads?

Ron,

I need your help on finding anything recent on 07 17N 04E. Calyx told me they had a producing well there. We have mineral rights and didn’t get a lease. They are checking. I would like to know when production started. I looked at OCC and couldn’t find anything. Maybe I’m missing something. If you have time that would be great. Thanks.

We never saw anything on it. We have four other leases with them and somehow they missed us. I called them today and they are checking on it. A pooling order would be great.

Teri, I found this on the Ringer well on NewsOK website: Devon Energy Production Co. LP; Ringer 20-18N-2W No. 1MH Well; SW1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 SE1/4 (SL) of 17-18N-02W; 154 barrels oil per day, 1,005,000 cu-ft gas per day; TD 10,690. You might find the NewOK site is easier to follow.

Thanks Ron, please send me your number.

They haven’t started drilling second well under 7 but have permit for it.

Teri, You will have to enter the section, township and range where these wells are located or enter the API number of each well on the OCC well data site I posted earlier. However, you will not find production unless Devon has filed completion reports. Another way to get current well info is here: http://newsok.com/more/drilling%20reports
