Payne County, OK - Oil & Gas Discussion archives

Jennifer, Devon has a pad in sec 8-19N-1W to drill 8-5-17 & 16 - 3 yr. leases going for over $200 per acre & 1/4 royalty. Future waterflood area. Miss Lime, Woodford, Sylvan formations are somewhat thin. Area has multiple faults - sometimes they frac into the faults and get better production, but hope for instead of count on it.

Jennifer, In Sec 10-19N-1W Devon’s agent offered me $400 per acre plus 3/16 last July and I declined.

Jennifer,

No production since the 90s with exception of 1 well in section 5 that the last sale shows 2011. There has been a bit of leasing in the last year.

No they wouldn’t give us any other info. I guess cause we don’t have interest in them. But we tried!! They have done the completion report on all of them so hopefully it will be on the website any day. Do you know after the DOI is done and they pay you your first check, is it for 6 months production? That is about how long it will be in production once that is done.

Teri, did your source indicate what the other wells are doing from the pad on your property?

Yes, that is correct.

Thanks for trying.

Just visiting from Crescent and Logan County, minerals I have just 4 months ago was offered 1,500 pa, now the well has come in showing most disappointing output, I have 3 offers in the mail recently, but do not know what they are offering or if they just offering their condolences for the dead output. I do not care, the letters are in Pennsylvania and I am in Winter Park, Florida still writing on my Oklahoma Oil Tycoon book while also writing more poetry and songs. I do not care what the letters say, if they are great offers or mere pennys, I will not sell. I know the crude is down there, it is in my bones and I will not sell. Also, theree are still rumors of U235 and stuff, and just look at the new gold rush in California, where they have preached for years no more gold is there. I say, sell your cows, sell your chickens eggs, sell your stocks and old computers, but never, ever sell your minerals.

Just found following report for Calyx well in Payne County:

Payne: Calyx Energy LLC; Ethridge No. 36-2 WX Well; SW/4 NE/4 SW/4 SW/4 (BHL) of 01-17N-04E; 169 BOPD, 772 MCFPD TD 13,693 feet.

This well also crosses 36-18N-04E.

Teri Valega,

The Landman from Devon called me a short time ago and said the Logan Sec 36, 19N, 2W is producing between 200-300 BOPD and gas. He did not have figures for Payne Sec 31, 19N,1W yet. Both wellheads are located on your Sec 6, 18N,1W Payne.

The land man for Devon says a lot of the farmers are displaying brand new tractors in the fields.

I just talked with Calyx Energy who verified that American Energy has purchased all thier leases. American Energy is going over these to set their next moves. They were active in Payne Co. so that should affect many of us.

Wayne Murrow

Good to know, Nathan. I had heard a rumor and contacted them. I don’t know whether it is a good or bad thing. American Energy is just starting in this play wirth their purchase so I am hopeful they will jump in with everything they have! When does your lease expire? I think you signed about six months before we did. We signed in March 2012.

Our lease ends in August.

12-18N-3E

That is correct. We received a letter saying that American energy had purchased our lease. I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Wayne and Nathan, where are you located? We signed with Calyx around the same time you did.
