This is the Gentry well in Sect 11, 3S4W, while it was drilling.

M Barnes,

I have received proposal from Newfield to unitize the Woodford in Sec. 1 and Sec. 12-2N-4W based on net acres owned. The sections have been divided into irregular tracts with appropriate participation factors and Sec. 1 contains 639.88acres but essentially 20% royalty on 1 acre in Sec. 1 will receive the same royalty payment as 20% royalty on 1 acre in Sec. 12 regardless of lateral length underlying each section.

NFX plans surface locations in Sec. 13 then drill north thru 12 and 1(10,000’ laterals). Are you aware of any geology which might prevent lateral from reaching north side of Sec. 1? Proposal seems equitable if wells are drilled as planned but if full lateral lengths are not drilled Sec. 12 royalty owners would seem to be giving up something. Existing standard lateral wells in the sections would not be affected. Thanks for any comments.

John Mosley, Thank you so VERY much for picture of Connell well. Can you give me an idea of what stage we are in. When will the horizontal drilling begin? Val Connell Carter REALLY appreciate the picture!!!

This is the Connell well while it was drilling. They wouldn’t let me drive up to the well site, but I know the surface owner of the adjacent property.

This is the Gentry well during build up of the drill site.

This is the Gentry well during early drilling.

Soonerpe, send me the Cause No so I can read it. Without reading it, if the surface location is in 13, then 12 is very likely to get drilled all the way. Sec 1 is who might get shorted. I don’t think there is a fault there, but I need to read the Cause.

Diane-completion always has to happen before production or else they cannot produce the well. We just don’t get to see the completion reports until four-six months later. That is how far behind the paperwork comes into the state and them actually posting it. Working interest folks find out a bit earlier.

No OCC filing yet. Unit proposal is similar to waterflood unitization.

Wonderful pictures John. Thanks for sharing.

Connell well is completed. Test for first 30 days was about 11 MCFG/day and 518 bod. I didn’t see it, but heard it had a pretty good flare during test.

Great pictures, John…wonderful to see those dotting the skyline. WI owners should be getting daily drilling or completion reports and would know immediately how production is testing. If you are a participating royalty owner, you should be getting these reports also. I think it is by design that operators aren’t getting their completion reports in for several months in some cases.

John, Again thank you so much for pictures. What exactly is 11 MCFG? Is that 11,000 cubic feet of gas per day? I assume the Gentry and Connell are in the same 640 unit? Tahnks, Val Connell Carter

Still another oil/gas lease recorded as late as yesterday 2/13/14 by Continental on section 34 2n4w in Stephens Co. Hopefully they have drilling on the mind!!!

Here’s the link for the best drilling and fracing video’s I’ve seen yet. Click on the “horizontal drilling animation” under video’s and enjoy.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY EVERYONE!!!

oops forgot to post the link: Here it ishttp://www.oerb.com/Default.aspx?tabid=242

Good morning everyone! I noticed a doc that Clint posted yesterday pertaining to Chevron being exempt from plugging in Sec 14 1S 5W until Sept 2019. It says holding wellbore for future potential. Can someone explain what exactly that document means? Thank you in advance to whomever answers this!

Anyone know what is happening with the Leland 1-18H in S18 1S 4W they (XTO) spud last August. Thanks so much.

Got a letter from company interested in purchasing any of our royalty in 2n4w. No price mentioned but we’re not interested at this time anyway. Just glad we’re still seeing some interest!

K Dawn,

Chevron may be thinking the wellbore might be needed in a waterflood or CO2 flood at some point in the future.
