Did I see where MRF added a "Recover" button at the bottom of a message?

I have tried in vain to learn how to effectively search the different forums for posts related to mineral interests that I own. I am a member of several county forums but I have not learned how to search within that particular forum. Any search I perform seems to be at the top level. Any advice on how to search within a forum for a particular section or lease?

Scammer report! We have a scammer lurking on our site. I received a scam offer from a Mr. Frank Kwabena (from Gana) via my email that he got from my profile. How do we alert other bloggers not to open his emails?

After other complaints, this user was banned form the site last week. When did you receive this email from him?

How do I become a member of a specific group on the forum? I have mineral rights in Oklahoma....and cant figure out how to join the Oklahoma group?? Vic

How can we add an area for mineral right owners affected by the ND State land/mineral right grab? I wouldn't mind monitoring it and helping keep it maintained.

I am not receiving the messages posted on the my groups that I am on.

Same with me. I am not receiving my messages, although I have checked to make sure my settings are correct. What can we do?

Hi all,

We are still trying to get to the bottom of this issue. This problem does not seem to be universal so can y ou please help us troubleshoot by checking a few things on your end??

1. Check your settings.

  • Sign, access your My Page and click “Settings” in the right hand column.
  • Select the “Email” link on the left.
  • Ensure that all boxes are checked for the notifications you want to receive.
  • Ensure that the last box, which turns off all emails from your Ning Network, is deselected.

2. Ensure that your email is not going to a spam or junk mail folder in your web-based email or email client.

3. Ensure that the email addresses your Ning Network uses are not blacklisted in your email client, ISP or your company firewall.

4. Change your email address to see if notifications arrive

  • this would be as a last resort to check the issue

Please let you know if an of these turns out to be the issue.

I was a member for some time when my computer got a virus and I had to change my email address. I am again a member with a new email address but now I cannot get the excel charts that Don Bray added to this site with the new wells being drilled.

How do I go about seeing those charts?

I received an e-mail stating someone was interested in my mineral listing, but all the text after that was nonsensical. I am assuming this is spam?

Probably. You should delete it. Better to be safe than sorry. If they are legit, they will contact you again.

I am the 'moderator' of the Monongalia County WV forum. I receive email messages notifying me of people who want to join the forum, yet when I follow the link in the email, I find nothing in my inbox - no emails, no alerts, no link to approve members.

This used to work, but it's not working now.l
